The owner of a Buick Skylark, which had been parked in Lot 8, came to Campus Police on Monday, March 3 at 9:30 a.m. to report that his vehicle had been stolen.

The owner said that his son had parked the vehicle in the Lot 8 parking deck on Friday, Feb. 28.

The owner and Campus Police searched the campus with negative results. The owner is a member of the U.S. Air Force and has a valid base decal for McGuire Air Force Base on the vehicle.

The car was valued at approximately $3,000.

Campus Police officers reported to the Brower Student Center on a report of vandalism on Saturday, March 1 at approximately 1:05 a.m.

Upon their arrival, they met with a manager who said that between 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 28, person(s) unknown damaged the toilet paper dispenser in the first floor men's bathroom stall area behind the information booth.

There are no suspects at this time.

Campus Police met with a victim on Sunday, March 2 at approximately 7:15 p.m. in order to take a theft report.

Upon arrival, they met with the victim who said he was inside the racquetball court and had placed his belongings outside the door to the court.

When he went outside to get a drink of water, he realized that his property was missing.

He also said that his keys and $8 were inside his warm-up pants.

A check of the area was completed with negative results.

He also inquired about his belongings at the Recreation Center's main desk, also with negative findings.

The value of the property stolen is $93.

There are no suspects or witnesses at this time.

Unknown person(s) entered the New Residence Hall office while it was secured and stole the Identification Box and its contents between 2 a.m. and 8 a.m. on Sunday, March 2.

The ID box contains the identification cards of signed-in guests. There were no signs of forced entry.

Campus Police was dispatched to Travers Hall on Saturday, March 1 at 2:35 a.m. to investigate a report of a white powdery substance in the hallway under the door of a room.

Investigation revealed that unknown person(s) poured what is believed to be baby powder on the floor.

The resident said she was not aware of a problem, which could have initiated this act.

She further said that her roommate was home for the weekend.

There are no suspects at this time.

Person(s) unknown stole an identification holder and keys from a student of the College's unattended breakfast tray on Monday March, 3 at approximately 10 a.m.

The student said that she left the tray unattended when she went to retrieve a spoon from the kitchen area of Eickhoff Dining Hall.

Upon her return, she observed her ID holder and keys to be missing from her tray.

The stolen belongings were worth approximately $7.

Campus police met with a student who said that between an unknown time and 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 19 person(s) unknown got his credit card number by unknown means and charged $468 at International Life Style Travel in Sarisota, Florida.

He said that he still has his credit card and did not know how they obtained his number. He notified his bank and closed his account.
