Students gathered in Alumni Grove last Wednesday, Sept. 10, to learn valuable information from other students, alumni and faculty about traveling overseas and studying abroad.
The study abroad program boasted many options, ranging from Italy to Switzerland to Prague.
“I loved it,” said senior accounting major Nick Pallessi, who studied abroad in Italy the semester before his junior year. “I would love to move to Italy, and I can now hold a fluent conversation.”
Pallessi said students should take advantage of their time at the College because it is the perfect time to study abroad it before entering the real world, and you meet many new people.
“I really liked the fair,” freshman psychology major Samantha Malestein said. “It was quick, and I stopped on my way in between classes, but at the same time it was very informative.”
Malestein wants to study abroad in Australia either her sophomore or junior year and is already starting to plan ahead financially, thanks to the advice given to her at the fair.
“Its cool how TCNJ offers so many options and encourages you to study abroad,” Malestein said. “The TCNJ Study Abroad Fair overall was a big hit, and sparked the interest of many students to start planning ahead for their travels.”
