Campus Police was dispatched to the men's room adjacent to the food court on the first floor of the Brower Student Center on Feb. 7, at 8:35 a.m. in regards to damage done to the facility.
Investigation revealed that between 10 p.m. on Thursday Feb. 6 and 2 a.m. on Friday Feb. 7 person(s) unknown caused damage to two paper towel dispensers by forcing them open and pulling out the towel rolls.
The person(s) also ripped one hand soap dispenser completely off the wall and ripped the front cover from the second soap dispenser, destroying it and throwing the soap cartridge and cover into one of the bathroom sinks.
The trash can was turned over and its contents were strewn about the floor and the toilet stalls.
The handicapped toilet stall was also vandalized. A paper seat cover dispenser was broken off.
The paper seat covers were thrown all over the room, and the front of the dispenser was thrown into a toilet that had urine in it.
The toilet paper dispenser was broken open, and the large paper roll was removed and thrown all over the floor.
The damage was found after Campus Police read a note left by the student center manager who had been working from 11 p.m. until 2 a.m. that night.
The manager who found the damage was contacted and said that the seniors were having an event at the Rat that evening and she believed that the damage was done by person(s) at the event.
Facilities had been advised of the incident and they responded and examined the damage.
The restroom will remain closed until the repairs are made. There are no suspects at this time.

An employee of Building Services contacted Campus Police in regards to property damage to the front door of Allen House at approximately 7:55 a.m. on Feb. 9.
Upon arrival, Campus Police noticed the glass in the bottom right corner of the front door was broken.
The Allen security staff was working until 2 a.m. and no damage had been reported as of that time.
Maintenance personnel were notified of the hazard the damage presented.
No further action was taken, and there are no suspects or witnesses at this time nor was any further damage reported.

Campus Police was dispatched on Feb. 10 at approximately 9:05 a.m. in regards to property that was removed from various rooms in the Science Complex.
Upon arrival, Campus Police met with Information and Technology (IT) staff.
IT completed an inventory of stolen property. Investigation revealed that person(s) unknown entered a room in the Science Complex and broke into the computer cabinet, removing one processor and computer memory.
A flatscreen monitor was also removed from the room. Additional flatscreen monitors were taken from two other rooms in the building as well.
The rooms were unsecured at the time of the theft. There is no further information at this time.
