Campus Police took a report of assault and harassment that had occurred on Feb. 13 to a student of the College by his ex-girlfriend.

The student said that the incident started at approximately 8:15 a.m. that morning, when he contacted a friend that was staying with him and she informed him that his ex-girlfriend was in his room watching her.

He was also informed that the ex-girlfriend left the room with his cell phone and sunglasses.

At this time, he returned to his room and contacted his ex-girlfriend asking her to return his property.

She agreed and met him at his building. She asked him to sign some paper as she returned his phone and when he refused she swung at him striking him in the chest.

She then began asking him questions and when he refused to answer, she kicked him twice in the leg.

She then smacked the cell phone from his hands and struck him in the face.

At this time, he grabbed her by the shoulders and forced her from the building.

The victim was issued his domestic violence rights form, however, he refused to press charges or file for a restraining order at this time.

Campus Police was dispatched to meet with an employee of the College on Feb. 17 at 12:30 p.m. because of a theft.

Upon arrival, the employee said that a hard drive was taken from the Holman Hall computer lab.

The computer was a Dell Optiplex Gx240 and the 80 GB hard drive was valued at $120.

He had noticed that the hard drive was missing when he was requested for a service call.

The theft would have occurred between 9 p.m. on Feb. 11 and 8 a.m. on Feb. 12.

There is no further information at this time.

Campus Police was detailed to Green Hall at 11:55 a.m. on Feb. 13 in order to take a report on the theft of a network card that had been removed from a printer located in that building.

The theft was discovered while Information and Technology workers were conducting an inventory of equipment.

The date of the theft is unkown.

Person(s) unknown entered a student's room in Wolfe Hall while she and her roommate were on the floor below doing laundry and removed her cell phone, valued at $299.

The student said when she left her room at 2 p.m. on Feb. 11, she observed the phone plugged into its charger.

She did not notice the phone missing until she went to get it at 4:30 p.m. that day before going to class.

She said that the phone charger was left behind and no other items were missing from the room.

The student was advised to contact her phone carrier and report the phone missing.

Also, she was advised to check her next phone bill for any unknown numbers dated after the phone was last seen and provide a copy of the bill to Campus Police.

Between 4:15 p.m. and 6:35 p.m. on Feb. 9, two students were walking on the sidewalk between Townhouses East and Metzger Drive when one of the students accused, a former friend of the victim, was walking towards them.

Upon seeing the accused, the victim decided out of courtesy to say "Hi." to him.

The accused responded to this greeting by saying "Fuck You."

Then he said "Fuck You," again to both the victim and her friend and continued on his way.

The comment alarmed the victim and she decided to file an informational report to Campus Police on the incident.

She said that there has been no further contact with the accused since Feb. 9 and unless anything else happens she just wanted the event noted. There was no further police action taken at this time.
