Pickering took the title with a one under par 70. It was his second victory of the season, after medaling at the Susquehanna University Invitational on April 7.

The host Diplomats won the team title with a 307 for the par 71 course. The Lions shot a 318 for the day and picked up fourth place in a field of 14 teams.

The team posted a sixth place finish out of 12 teams in the Glenmaura National Collegiate Invitational at Glenmaura National Golf Course. The Lions shot a two-day total of 623, while Moravian College won the tournament with a 606.

Three Lions golfers finished in the top 15, including Pickering (7th), senior Jeff Pillar (11th) and sophomore Brian Clarke (13th).

The Lions also took sixth place at the Wesley College Invitational at the Wild Quail Country Club on Thursday.

Monday's tournament marked the last meet of the spring for the golf team. They finished in the top five in three of the five events in which they participated, including a victory at the Susquehanna University Invitational.
