Golf: The Lions took ninth place in a field of 15 at the Ted Keller Invitational at Hunting Hawk Golf Club on Sunday. Freshman Will McLaughlin finished 19th overall with a 152. Jon Galinski finished five strokes behind McLaughlin with rounds of 79 and 79 in the two-day tournament. Junior Nick Pennetti carded a 158 after shooting an opening-day score of 80 followed up with a 78 on Sunday.



Women's soccer: Freshman forward Allie Schilling was named NJAC rookie-of-the-week. Schilling netted two goals, including the game-winner, in the Lions' 5-2 win over Montclair on Saturday. Sophomore forward Dana DiBruno is currently leading the NJAC in points per game with 3.4.



Men's soccer: Junior midfielder Tim Dudek was named NJAC offensive player-of-the-week for scoring three goals over the Lions' last two wins.



Field Hockey: Freshman midfielder Kelly Mitchell was named NJAC rookie-of-the-week for the second time this season for her two assists in the Lions' 3-1 win over William Paterson. Mitchell is tied with teammate Allison Greene for the NJAC lead in points per game at 2.4.



Football: Senior place-kicker Blake Abbott was named last week's NJAC special teams player-of-the-week for his standout punting in the Lions' 30-14 loss to SUNY-Cortland on Sept. 10. He punted seven times for a 40.6-yard average. He also tallied a career-high 52-yard punt.
