Rihanna no longer has to worry about sleeping in an empty California king-sized bed, as her and A$AP Rocky just introduced their third child.
On Sept. 24, the singer revealed her daughter in an Instagram post with the caption, “Rocki Irish Mayers.”
The post shows the singer holding her baby girl with a ring that reads “mom.” Her newborn is in a light pink outfit with matching ruffle socks. The second photo of the slideshow post has a pair of pink baby gloves with pink ribbon tied.
Now, the couple is a family of five. Rihanna, 37, and Rocky, 36, had their first child, RZA in May 2022 and their second, Riot, in August 2023.
“Rihanna has always wanted a big family, so she couldn’t be more excited,” an exclusive source told People Magazine. “Rihanna and Rocky are thrilled to be growing their family and they can’t wait to give their boys another sibling.”
The Fenty Beauty founder first exposed her baby bump during this year’s Met Gala in New York City. She wore a custom Marc Jacobs ensemble which confirmed her third pregnancy.
“Rihanna’s outfit tonight is… I don’t know, whatever, just don’t cover her baby hump, you dig?” Rocky said in an interview on the carpet.
The artists performed together in 2012 at the MTV VMAs. Rihanna opened with a performance of her song, “Cockiness (Love It),” where Rocky gave her a peck on the neck.
Fans began to stir rumors, create suspicions and ship the two artists together. In 2013, Rihanna played Rocky’s love interest for his music video “Fashion Killa.” One of the lyrics in his song is “Her attitude Rihanna / She get it from her mama.” In May of 2021, Rocky confirmed that Rihanna is “the love of my life,” according to Billboard.
Though the two haven’t publicly confirmed a marriage, the rapper teases the idea. When asked if he was looking forward to becoming a husband, he responded, “How do you know I’m not already a husband?” according to Elle Magazine. “I’m still not gonna confirm it.”
“When someone sees you completely, and believes in you, and thinks you’re worthy of being the mother of their kids, it’s a great feeling. I felt the same about him. I knew he would be a great dad,” Rihanna said in an interview with Mel Ottenberg.
