‘Bridgerton’ returns with a Cinderella-inspired plot in Season 4

Taking inspiration from the classic “Cinderella” tale, the series has introduced its first commoner protagonist, Sophie Baek, who lives as a maid to her stepmother and two stepsisters. The first episode includes a masquerade ball, to which Sophie sneaks in and meets Benedict Bridgerton, who will be her love interest. Characters dress up as Zeus and pirates, and Lady Violet. Bridgerton is even dressed in a similar fashion to the Fairy Godmother, reflecting her well-known meddling in her children’s love lives.

OPINION: There are too many biopics coming out

The teaser trailer for “Michael” was posted on the YouTube channel for Lionsgate Movies on Nov. 6. As of mid-November, the little over a minute-long video has amassed about 14 million views. This biopic about Michael Jackson will feature his nephew, Jaafar Jackson, as the widely recognized “King of Pop” and it will be released in theaters on April 24, 2026.

If you live on campus and have yet to look at the recent emails from Residential Education and Housing, it is important that you do so. On Nov. 5, ResEd sent out an email to students with the subject, “Upcoming Housing Changes.” The email discussed three significant updates that we can expect to see next year in the College’s housing plans.

OPINION: Shows need to stop splitting their seasons into parts

The development of streaming services has made watching shows more convenient than it has ever been. No longer do viewers have to rely on only their television screens for entertainment,  be available at a specific time or sit through commercials (although this is changing with streaming platforms adding cheaper plans that include ads). One can simply pay a monthly subscription and they will be able to watch what they want, when they want.
