34 years of ‘Somewhere Between Heaven and Hell’

For a time period consumed by the tail end of the hair metal craze and the beginning of the Seattle grunge scene, Social Distortion created its own sound. With the power of members Ness, rhythm guitarist Dennis Danell, bassist John Maurer and drummer Christopher Reece, the band molded multiple sub-genres to create its signature rockabilly sound.

CUB Alt presents: Throwback 80s Rock Show

Artists from Jon Bon Jovi to Van Halen and Motley Crüe were covered over the course of the night, with both bands also introducing some of their originals to the small but mighty crowd. Overall, event attendees were seen nodding their heads and tapping their feet to the beat.

Arctic Monkeys release new song for charity

The band has nonetheless returned to help benefit the War Child UK charity album. Set to be released on March 6, the star-studded album contains music from artists such as Damon Albarn, Big Thief, Fontaines D.C., Olivia Rodrigo, Wet Leg and Depeche Mode. With a mix of covers and unreleased relics, the album looks promising indeed.

Women learn to lead at TCNJ

Women in Learning and Leadership, otherwise known as WILL, is a program first instituted by the University of Richmond in 1980, as a response to the increase in research done on women’s colleges and feminist scholarship. The program combined coursework that centered around women’s gender, and sexuality studies, with out-of-classroom experiences.
