Read More »The Lions headed into this difficult two game stretch sitting at 5-1 after a loss to the top team in the nation, Middlebury College. In back-to-back games, the Lions played against No. 6 Gettysburg College and No. 7 Washington and Lee University. These were two important games to stack up, with Gettysburg being the nation’s runner up last season and Washington and Lee entering the game at 8-3 with a ton of experience.

The Lions came into the game losing their last three games against the Black Panthers and were looking to break the losing streak. Middlebury is coming off a National Championship, along with an unbeaten streak of 33 games, and has become a true powerhouse in Division III women's lacrosse.

The stretch was headed by two road games against Lebanon Valley College on March second and the University of Scranton on March sixth. To round off, the Lions finished at home against Farmingdale State College on March ninth.
