‘Primetime’: Beyond Chris Hansen’s ‘To Catch a Predator’

Pattinson excelled at his portrayal of Hansen, while adding his own personal interpretation to his character. Wever masterfully executed her role as Andie Bender, Hansen’s avaricious producer, who is hungry for success over goodwill. Gisondo plays Dan, an aspiring actor who lands the decoy role in Hansen’s show. His performance was both humorous and impressive, as he added contrast to Hansen and Bender, providing a sense of humanity within the ruthless show business.

‘The Lizzie Borden Story’: Who makes a monster?

The glorification of murder is a flagrant criticism of the series, with real-life murders sensationalized to leverage a surface-level feminist and lesbian narrative. While it is important to recognize Borden and Wuornos as victims of their own suffering, the show makes no analytical recognition of the levity of their murders.

‘Last of a Dying Breed’: Joji’s fragmentary EP

With a fourth record set for Feb. 6, Joji released a sporadic series of singles throughout the fall of 2025. To bind the four songs together, the musician released the four tracks from his upcoming album “Piss In The Wind” to Spotify in EP format twice — first with “LOVE YOU LESS” and again with the five-track “Last of a Dying Breed.”
