TCNJ exhibit ‘What Images’ explores the art-making process in a world of digital saturation

An unintentionally impactful part of the exhibition is that the artist from Iran was unable to display their work. Due to the current war, the artist was unable to communicate with the curators and unable to send their piece. Instead of this, a paper was displayed labeling the artist, Arghavan Heydareslam, and why she was unable to send her video.

OPINION: ARC can do better

The Accessibility Resource Center at the College offers an opportunity for students with disabilities to receive accommodations in whatever regard they require. This is a necessary resource to have in order to maintain the College’s mission of Division of Excellence to persons with disabilities. ARC does not offer the opportunity and help that it has said to allow, but there is still room to improve and truly offer a fully inclusive and easier process for students struggling.

OPINION: Selling hermit crabs is inhumane

Have you ever gone to the beach or boardwalk and begged your parents to get you a hermit crab, only for it to die within the week? Maybe they warned you, saying “no, they aren’t worth the money,” or “OK, but just remember not to get too attached.” Both of which are wrong to say.
