‘Significant Other’: A student-run spectacle

The story follows Jordan Berman navigating his love life as his three best friends each find love and get married, leaving him behind. Berman struggles with identity, family, friendship and self- worth in the 75-minute duration of the show, allowing audiences to enter his mind and wallow with him.

Prism put on its 50th anniversary drag show

In addition to the professional drag queens present at the show, there were also many student performers who dressed in their own drag personas and strutted their stuff. The two-hour event was filled with comedy, fashion, music and an overall appreciation and pride for the art form that is drag.

‘The Drama’: Something bold, something new

Zendaya’s portrayal of Emma was emotional, ridiculous and authentic. Emma has been carrying a dark secret with her for almost her entire life, and has found a good life beyond her past. When that darkness comes back into her life, her reactions are complex. Be prepared to see Emma throw up from guilt and anxiety at least two times in this film.

TCNJ exhibit ‘What Images’ explores the art-making process in a world of digital saturation

An unintentionally impactful part of the exhibition is that the artist from Iran was unable to display their work. Due to the current war, the artist was unable to communicate with the curators and unable to send their piece. Instead of this, a paper was displayed labeling the artist, Arghavan Heydareslam, and why she was unable to send her video.

Chappell Roan faces backlash after an alleged interaction with young fan

He goes on to explain that he and his family were staying at the same hotel as the singer due to Lollapalooza. Roan had walked past their table and Ada wanted to make sure it really was the artist because “she was so happy to see an artist she really admires, or used to admire.” Ada had simply walked past the singer's table, saw it was her and smiled, and then walked back to her table.

‘Project Hail Mary’: Cinematically cosmic

The film also focuses on Grace’s companion Rocky, an alien from another planet who works with Grace to save Earth. Rocky, voiced by James Ortiz, is an extremely lovable character. The two form a particularly strong bond, which adds such whimsicality to the film. It was so fun seeing these two characters interact and grow together, adding an empathetic yet hard-hitting aspect to the film.

The newest Westeros show is far from a fantasy epic: ‘A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms’

The show and the novella it’s based on are centered on the lowly hedge knight Dunk, a young man who came from the impoverished slums of Flea Bottom. He is heading to participate in the Ashford tourney shortly after the death of his master, Ser Arlan of Pennytree, the knight he squired for since boyhood. At the Ashford tourney, Dunk faces money issues, contends with smug, dismissive nobles and meets a precocious, intelligent bald boy named Egg who insists on becoming his squire.
